You may not realize just how many sunroom decor options you have available to you. If you work hard to make sure everything matches and adds to the the theme of your sunroom, you will be well-rewarded. You should have a theme in mind as you begin decorating your sunroom. In the midst of your theme, you must not lose site of making the room welcoming, which you can do with a well-placed tea table or card table. The colors you choose for your sunroom decor should match both the theme of the sunroom and the style of your house.

Adding color to your sunroom can provide a lot of beauty. For example, some people have painted their sunrooms in striped yellow ad orange colors. Even the drapes may be of a vivid yellow-orange or yellow-green shade. You may want to have some wicker chairs painted in stylish combinations of black and orange. You can have orange tassels coming down off of your electric light globes for a decorative effect.

How about adding a fountain to your sunroom to give it the feel of nature, yet painted in the colors of the sunroom. There are actually plants that grow in bright colors that will match the room colors that you can use as indoor house plants in your sunroom. Having all of this color in your sunroom will make it a great place to be, even on overcast days. Your sunroom decor options are virtually unlimited when you bring color into the decor equation.

If you're not into those bright colors and you just want to soak in some sun, you may find that there are plenty of great sunroom decor color options available to you still. You can contrast the colors of the sun with a theme of blue, green, gray, or dark red. In fact, a dark linoleum flooring in dark red can make the room feel very focused. Some rugs on a dark red linoleum floor will help bring about some contrast.
